Your chance to shine...

The Polar Race and the Marathon des Sables are both high profile events that attract world wide media attention, including BBC documentaries, mainstream global TV coverage and global Tier 1 press publications, As Paul is attempting both of these epic races in one year,  he is already attracting significant interest from the press (with further press releases planned in 2013).

The 2013 Polar Race is the last ever race, partly due to the costs involved, but largely due to the impacts of climate change - a fact that is of significant interest to the media. The last expedition to the Pole, organised by Polar Race leader Jock Wishart, was the subject of a BBC1 prime time documentary (and numerous articles in global media). We are in final discussions with a production company and a major celebrity to cover the expedition.

Paul is currently speaking to a number of corporates about the exciting opportunity to showcase their brand as part of the Challenge. There are a number of ways that your company can benefit from sponsoring this event:

  • Increased brand awareness and association: TV, Press and radio coverage with Paul acting as a brand ambassador for you
  • Increased employee engagement: Paul is an accomplished public speaker and will use his deep business experience to inspire your employees to challenge themselves, stretch their ambitions and strive to achieve more

There are a number of different sponsorship packages available and start from as little as £1000 (or equivalent product value). You can work with Paul to create a customised sponsorship agreement to most effectively meet your needs. Example opportunties include:

  • Active (but subtle!) brand promotion in TV/Press interviews and photoshoots
  • Your logo on Paul's kit (wind suit, fleece, T-shirts, hats etc)
  • Live interviews from the Pole (via satellite phone)
  • Professional photography from the expedition (featuring your product/logo)
  • Pre and Post event presentations to employees
  • Distribution of products (as part of promotional/speaking events etc)

Please contact Paul directly at paul@fireandicechallenge.co.uk or call 07919485266.
