How to support the Fire and Ice Challenge
This challenge is aiming to raise £50,000 for a truly fantastic cause for VSO - aiming to provide 1000 people around the world with the skills to get jobs, support their families and contribute to their communities. You can read all about VSO and this initiative on the 'VSO' page on this site.
There are three ways you can support this challenge:
- By making a cash donation on JustGiving
- Texting a donation using your mobile phone
- Doing a challenge of your own to raise money
This page provides details of how to donate and how to set up your own challenge to help support this amazing cause. 100% of all money donated to VSO goes to the charity. I am managing the costs of the challenges myself through corporate sponsorship and VSO are not contributing any funding to the costs.
There are some great prizes for those who choose to donate or set up an event, including a 32gb iPad!

Do your own challenge event
The Fire and Ice Challenge is designed to inspire people to push their own boundaries and try things that they are not sure they can achieve. This could be running a 5k, walking for 20km, taking part in a triathalon, running a marathon, or even trying to run a 100km. Or if you just want to help fundraise and support the cause, you could do a bar night, organise a raffle, sell your homemade cakes... Whatever it is, do something to push yourself, join the adventure or support in any way you can.
It's very easy to fundraise for VSO through the Fire and Ice Challenge. Here is how:
1) Come up with an idea to fundraise for VSO
2) Set up a JustGiving Page (takes 5 minutes)
